Sessions where children and their grown ups move, play and learn together.

Our family programme is built for young children and the adults who bring them. These are not classes where you drop your child off. You are on the mat too, and the connection between you is part of the point.
Two formats run at Soulstone. Sensory and singing workshops with Friendship in the Feld, and Little Humans Yoga with Ligia Padron. Both are play based, both welcome younger siblings, and neither expects your child to sit still or follow along perfectly. Children join in when they are ready, and wander off when they are not. That is normal and nobody minds.

Meggie and Raela met while teaching at an international school in Berlin, connected over play based learning and children's literature, and built Friendship in the Feld around what they found missing for young families in the city.
Their workshops bring together music, textiles, sensory art and natural materials. Sessions are hands on and messy in the good way, with singing running through them, and they are shaped by a commitment to gentleness, inclusion and adaptability. Children explore at their own pace. Adults are there alongside them, not watching from the side.
These sessions are ideal if you want your child to have creative, sensory rich time outside Kita, and if you want to meet other families while it happens.
Workshop lengths vary by format, typically [two hours]. Dates are published in the schedule.

Little Humans Yoga is a class for young children and their caregivers to move and explore together.
Each session weaves children's yoga with songs, storytelling, breathing exercises and relaxation. The structure follows how young children actually learn, through play, repetition, imagination and connection with the people around them, rather than through instruction.
Over time it builds confidence, body awareness, emotional wellbeing and creativity, and gives children an early set of tools they can come back to. For the adults, it is an hour of doing something together that is neither a chore nor a screen.
Suitable for children from 12 months to five years, alongside a caregiver. Families with younger siblings are warmly welcomed. No previous experience needed.
Soft flooring, wool mats, cushions and blankets, and a box of toys. The studio is 70 square metres and the space is set up so children can move around safely.
Come dressed for movement and for mess where relevant. Bring water and a snack if your child usually needs one. There is no expectation of quiet, and no expectation that your child participates the whole time.
Held at Lehderstraße 26, Weißensee, ground floor. Entrance on the Roelckestraße side.
Sessions run in [English]. Group sizes stay small so every family gets attention.
Little Humans Yoga is booked through Eversports. Friendship in the Feld sessions are booked through their own website, linked from the schedule.
