Within Female Health

Becoming a mother is beautiful, but it can also feel overwhelming. There's endless advice, and it's not always easy to know what to trust.

We believe every woman deserves simple, trusted support for pregnancy, postpartum and beyond — to feel at home in her own body, at every stage of motherhood.

With a background in Women's Health Physiotherapy, we're here to empower you with practical knowledge, effective exercises, and tools that actually work. Everything is designed to fit naturally into your everyday life, and available online so you can access support anytime, anywhere.

Because wellness in motherhood should fit your life, not add another task to your list.

About Sandra

Sandra Astruga is a Physiotherapist specialized in Pelvic Floor and Women's Health. Working in this field since 2017, she brings both deep clinical knowledge and a holistic approach, connecting your pelvic floor to your whole body through manual therapy, functional movement, and overall wellbeing.

She has trained and worked internationally across Spain, Italy, Germany, and Argentina, including at renowned centers such as the ISAR Klinikum Beckenbodenzentrum in Munich and Deutsches Beckenboden Zentrum Berlin.

Her expertise spans pregnancy and postpartum care, pelvic floor rehabilitation, pain management, and exercise therapy, helping women feel strong, healthy, and supported at every stage of life.

About María

María Múgica became a mother at the end of 2024. What surprised her most wasn't the sleepless nights, but how little support there was for her own wellbeing.

During pregnancy, information was scattered, outdated, and focused on the baby. After birth, support was even harder to find. Navigating recovery from a complicated pregnancy while caring for a newborn felt overwhelming, and advocating for herself felt like a full-time job at a time when she most needed guidance.

Everything changed when she met Sandra. Finally, María felt supported, informed, and able to focus on both her family and herself.

Determined to give other women the support she wished she'd had, she now combines her background in Tech and Strategy with her journey as a mom, making Sandra's expertise accessible to all women so they can feel strong, informed, and empowered in motherhood.

Friendship in the Feld

We met while teaching at an international school in Berlin and quickly connected over our shared approach to teaching, love for the arts, children’s literature, and play-based learning. Whether through music, textiles, or sensory art projects, we found joy in creating with children and using artistic expression as a tool for learning. In and out of the classroom, our collaboration felt natural. We also discovered a shared commitment to gentleness, nurturance, inclusion, fun, and adaptability—creating spaces where children feel safe, seen, and encouraged to grow.

As we continued teaching together in the international school system, we noticed a gap in what was available for young children and their families in the community. Many international families were looking for more—more connection, more support, and more opportunities for their children to learn and grow outside of Kita or school.

That’s where Friendship in the Feld began. Living in Schillerkiez, we love Berlin and everything it has to offer. Tempelhofer Feld, with its open spaces and sense of freedom, has been a huge inspiration for us—both as a gathering place and as a reminder of how nature fosters curiosity and exploration. We incorporate natural materials and outdoor learning into our approach, encouraging children to connect with the world around them through play.

What started as a professional partnership turned into a friendship, and now into a shared vision. Friendship in the Feld is our way of bringing families together, bridging the gap between home and early education, and celebrating the joy of learning. Come join us in the feld!

Mayra Fonseca

Mayra is a wellness practitioner and movement teacher with a background in nutrition, holistic health, Pilates, and Yoga. Her work bridges science and embodied practice, with a focus on breath-led movement, nervous system regulation, and building sustainable strength from within.

Her classes are designed to feel grounded and intentional — combining mobility, alignment, and flow to support both physical and energetic balance. With a strong emphasis on presence and awareness, Mayra creates spaces where students can reconnect to their bodies, restore clarity, and move with greater ease and resilience.

Her approach blends precision with intuition, emphasising slow, controlled movements that activate smaller muscle groups and cultivate balance from within. Every session is thoughtfully designed to lengthen, tone, and strengthen the body while deepening awareness and alignment.

Mayra combines the classical foundation of Pilates with a modern sensibility. The result is a method that builds stronger, longer, and more resilient bodies, and a mindset that extends beyond the mat.

Based in Berlin, she continues to expand her teaching through studio classes, workshops, and integrative wellness work across Europe.
