Slower, held positions, with time to understand what your body is doing.

Hatha is the slower of our two general yoga classes. Positions are held for longer, with time to set them up properly, adjust, and actually feel what is happening. That extra time changes the work. Instead of flowing past a position, you stay in it, which builds a different kind of strength and gives you a much clearer sense of your own alignment. It is also where most people learn the details that make every other class better. There is a strong focus on breath throughout, and on the back and spine. If you sit for work, or carry a child most of the day, this is the class that addresses it directly.
We start seated or lying down, with breath and a slow warm up. The main part of the class moves through standing and floor positions, held for several breaths each, with clear instruction on alignment and options for support. Blocks, bands and cushions are used often, not as a beginner's compromise but because supported positions let you stay longer and go deeper.
Anyone, at any level. Hatha is often the easiest entry point into yoga because the pace gives you time to follow instructions, but it is not only a beginner class. Experienced practitioners usually find the long holds more demanding than they expect. It suits you well if you want strength without speed, if you are working with back tension or stiffness, or if a faster class leaves you feeling rushed rather than settled. If you are pregnant or in the early months after birth, our prenatal and postnatal classes are designed for that instead.
Strength built through holding rather than moving, which shows up as stability. More mobility through the hips, shoulders and spine. Real relief for a back that has been sitting or carrying all week. The breath work is the part people underrate. It is the same technique that helps in stressful moments away from the mat, and holding a position long enough to want out of it is decent practice for that.
Sixty minutes. Mats, blocks, bands, blankets, cushions and bolsters provided. Wear something you can move in. Classes run in [English]. Groups stay small, [max 12 people].

Parent and baby classes, sensory workshops, and children's workshops with Friendship in the Feld, held on recurring slots. There's also children's yoga with Ligia, using songs, storytelling, breathing exercises and relaxation to build confidence, body awareness and emotional wellbeing. These sit alongside the adult program, so a parent can build a Pilates practice and bring their child to a class in the same space.
A drop-in class is for 22 euros. Class packs are available: a 5 class pack is for 100 euros and a 10 class pack is for 180 euros. Prices include German VAT.
Classes are booked through Eversports. Soulstone also plans limited availability through Urban Sports Club and ClassPass for discovery, alongside direct booking.
Soulstone combines pre- and postnatal movement, baby classes, Pilates, and yoga in onedesign-led space, rather than splitting mothers, babies, and general fitness across separate studios. It is built as a community space, not only a class schedule, with a calm, considered interior rather than a clinical or gym-like feel.
Soulstone sits in Weißensee, directly bordering Prenzlauer Berg, making it an easy option for families in both neighborhoods looking for prenatal, postnatal, or family movement classes.
