Breath led movement, with room to work hard or take it easy.

Vinyasa is a flowing style of yoga where each movement is linked to a breath. Instead of holding positions one at a time, you move through sequences that build, so the class has a rhythm to it. It is the more dynamic of the two general yoga classes we run. You will get warm. You will build strength, especially through the legs, core and shoulders, and you will move through a full range of positions rather than staying in one area. The pace is steady rather than relentless. There is time to understand what you are doing, and time to rest when you need it.
We start slowly, with breath and gentle movement to warm the spine and joints. The class then builds through sequences, usually working towards a peak position or a particular area of focus that day. Standing work, balance, some strength on the floor, and transitions that ask for coordination. Options are offered throughout, so you can take the fuller version or the simpler one depending on where you are that day. The last part of the class comes back down. Slower positions, hip and hamstring work, and then several minutes of stillness at the end.
Anyone who wants to move. Vinyasa suits you if you like a class with momentum, if you want a physical practice, or if you find it easier to switch off when your body is busy. Beginners are welcome. The sequences repeat, so you learn them quickly, and everything is adaptable. If you have a wrist, shoulder or back issue, mention it before class and it will be worked around. If you are pregnant or in the early months after birth, our prenatal and postnatal classes are the better fit.
Strength and mobility together, which is the part most training misses. Better balance and coordination. Cardiovascular work that does not feel like cardio. And a specific kind of quiet. When the sequence asks for your full attention, there is not much room left for anything else. Most people find that harder to reach sitting still than moving.
Sixty minutes. Mats, blocks, bands, blankets and cushions provided. Wear something you can move in. Bring water. Classes run in [English]. Groups stay small, [max 12 people].

Parent and baby classes, sensory workshops, and children's workshops with Friendship in the Feld, held on recurring slots. There's also children's yoga with Ligia, using songs, storytelling, breathing exercises and relaxation to build confidence, body awareness and emotional wellbeing. These sit alongside the adult program, so a parent can build a Pilates practice and bring their child to a class in the same space.
A drop-in class is for 22 euros. Class packs are available: a 5 class pack is for 100 euros and a 10 class pack is for 180 euros. Prices include German VAT.

Soulstone combines pre- and postnatal movement, baby classes, Pilates, and yoga in onedesign-led space, rather than splitting mothers, babies, and general fitness across separate studios. It is built as a community space, not only a class schedule, with a calm, considered interior rather than a clinical or gym-like feel.
Soulstone sits in Weißensee, directly bordering Prenzlauer Berg, making it an easy option for families in both neighborhoods looking for prenatal, postnatal, or family movement classes.
