What we run

Not everything fits into a 60 minute weekly class. Some things need a full afternoon, a specialist, or a room set up entirely differently. Our workshops cover the practical and the personal: emergency skills for parents, psychologist led conversations about parenthood, and sound sessions for deep rest. Each one is led by someone who does this work properly, and each runs on set dates rather than weekly. New workshops are added regularly. The current dates are always in the schedule.

Toni Vetter

Paediatric First Aid with First Saver

Essential life saving skills for anyone looking after a baby or small child. The course covers basic life support, choking, fevers, seizures, head injuries, allergic reactions and recovery. It is built for real life rather than for a textbook, and there is always space to ask the questions that are actually on your mind. Clare Vogt is a Senior Emergency and Intensive Care Nurse with over a decade of frontline experience and a mother of two. She holds nursing qualifications in both adult and children's nursing, has worked in paediatric and neonatal intensive care, and qualified as an Advanced Life Support instructor in 2010. It suits expectant parents preparing for what is ahead as much as those already deep in the early years. Grandparents, childminders and anyone else caring for a little one are welcome. Little ones can come along too. Duration [approximately three hours]. Price [to be confirmed]. Booked through Eversports.

Nurturing Conversations with Ceren Palik

A series of psychologist led gatherings for parents who want to explore the emotional side of parenthood that usually goes unspoken. Each gathering takes a different theme and combines psychological insight with guided reflection in a small group. There is no pressure to speak. Many people find the value simply in hearing that someone else has felt the same way. This is not a parenting class and it is not group therapy. It is a space to pause and think, with someone qualified in the room. Led by Ceren Palik, Clinical Psychologist and mother of two, founder of Nurturing Conversations. Duration [approximately two hours]. Price [to be confirmed]. Booked through Eversports.

Soundbath with Katja Schendel

A session for deep rest, using sound rather than movement. You lie down, supported by cushions and blankets, and the work is done for you. Sound meditation creates space for relaxation, regeneration and a different kind of awareness, and most people leave with the sense of having properly switched off for the first time in a while. Katja Schendel is a music therapist, yoga and sound meditation teacher based in Berlin. She develops and delivers individualised music therapy in clinical settings, working with mental health and wellbeing, communication, movement, memory, attention and pain management, and guides sound meditations across the city. No experience needed. Nothing is asked of you except that you lie down. Duration [approximately 75 minutes]. Price [to be confirmed]. Booked through Eversports.

Mindfulness with Stefania Zamora

A session for slowing down, in a week that probably has not allowed for much of it.Mindfulness here is not about emptying your mind or sitting perfectly still for an hour. It is about building the ability to notice what is happening, in your body and in your head, and to respond to it with a bit more clarity and a bit less reaction.Sessions combine guided meditation, accessible neuroscience and reflective journaling. The neuroscience matters: understanding what is actually happening when your attention drifts, or when stress takes over, makes the practice far easier to trust and far easier to keep doing. The journaling gives you somewhere to put what comes up.The tone is curious rather than strict. You are not aiming to do it correctly. You are learning to pay attention with self compassion, which for most people is the harder part.Stefania Zamora is the founder of Neurocalma, a mindfulness project built on the idea that wellbeing begins where science meets soul. She is certified by the European Institute of Positive Psychology in Mindfulness, Positive Psychology and Emotional Management. Originally from Mexico and now based in Berlin, she brings warmth and a grounded approach to every session. No experience needed. Nothing to prepare. Come as you are, tired counts.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Where is Soulstone located?

Soulstone is at Lehderstraße 26, 13086 Berlin, in Weißensee, close to Prenzlauer Berg. The studio is a 70 square meter, design-led movement space with a window-facing entrance.

What kind of studio is Soulstone?

Soulstone is a movement studio for modern families in Berlin. It offers Pilates, yoga, prenatal and postnatal movement, and baby and parent classes, alongside workshops and community events. It is not only a prenatal studio. It is a space for every stage of life, from a personal Pilates practice to a first class with your baby.

Does Studio offer prenatal yoga in Berlin?

Yes. Soulstone runs prenatal classes designed for every stage of pregnancy, held in Weißensee. Classes are rolling rather than fixed eight week courses, so you can join at any point in your pregnancy.

Does Soulstone offer postnatal classes?

Yes. Postnatal recovery and movement classes run weekly, including sessions led with Within Female Health. Most Berlin postnatal programs follow fixed course models tied to Krankenkasse cycles. Soulstone’s rolling format means mothers can join whenever they are ready, not only at the start of a course.

Is this place only for mothers, or can anyone join?

Anyone. Motherhood is Soulstone’s strongest niche and entry point, but the studio also runs general Pilates and yoga for anyone building a personal movement practice, alongside baby and family classes for the whole household.

What baby and family classes do we offer?

Parent and baby classes, sensory workshops, and children's workshops with Friendship in the Feld, held on recurring slots. There's also children's yoga with Ligia, using songs, storytelling, breathing exercises and relaxation to build confidence, body awareness and emotional wellbeing. These sit alongside the adult program, so a parent can build a Pilates practice and bring their child to a class in the same space.

How much do classes cost?

A drop-in class is for 22 euros. Class packs are available: a 5 class pack is for 100 euros and a 10 class pack is for 180 euros. Prices include German VAT.

How do I book a class?

Classes are booked through Eversports. Soulstone also plans limited availability through Urban Sports Club and ClassPass for discovery, alongside direct booking.

What makes Soulstone different from other Berlin studios?

Soulstone combines pre- and postnatal movement, baby classes, Pilates, and yoga in onedesign-led space, rather than splitting mothers, babies, and general fitness across separate studios. It is built as a community space, not only a class schedule, with a calm, considered interior rather than a clinical or gym-like feel.

Where exactly is Soulstone compared to Prenzlauer Berg?

Soulstone sits in Weißensee, directly bordering Prenzlauer Berg, making it an easy option for families in both neighborhoods looking for prenatal, postnatal, or family movement classes.
